In operation since 1994, SEBRA Extreme Bull Riding was established in Archdale, North Carolina and is one of the longest, continually running bull riding associations in North America.

Popularly known as the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association, in 2010 SEBRA officially became a national organization with events spanning both coasts of the United States.

SEBRA has worked hard to become an association recognized for its good reputation. The association puts its producers, contractors and members first, assisting in everything from event promotion and taking call-ins, to helping bull riders obtain sponsorships.

Sanctioning more than 350 events in 2010 in a record-breaking season, more than a half-million dollars was paid out at SEBRA events, boasting a $25,000-added finals that paid out more than $40,000 in cash and awards. SEBRA prides itself in working with contractors and producers whose focus is on quality shows.  The attendance at smaller SEBRA events is 800 to 900 but generally exceeds 1,200 to 2,000 fans at the average SEBRA event and larger events often have 3,000 to 5,000 spectators. The association sanctions numerous series and tour events year-round.

SEBRA has helped produce such veteran bull riders as PBR members JB Mauney and Brian Canter, though unofficially a semi-pro association with events suitable to a range of experience from amateur to professional depending on the event and producer.  Quite often SEBRA events feature PBR caliber bulls and cowboys.
