Recognizing that Christianity is a part of  the bull riding and rodeo lifestyle, SEBRA is pleased to have Scott Hilgendorff serving as Chaplain for the association. Scott represents Christian Cowboy Outreach and is available to both bull riders and those working in the industry for prayer, to help teach more about the Bible and Christian faith and to provide a Christian perspective to you on whatever you may struggle with. Scott attends many SEBRA-sanctioned events to lead a short cowboy church approximately a ½-hour before the performance starts.

Scott left a 14 year career in journalism to devote his life to ministry. He believes in serving God with the skills and gifts that He provides for us. Scott has worked for 14 years as a rodeo/bull riding photographer and in rodeo promotions/marketing. He feels his true calling in rodeo ministry. You can ask him about his brief career as a saddle bronc rider.

Scott is a volunteer with SEBRA and is in ministry full time. His support comes entirely from individuals and some small churches, many who live outside the bull riding and rodeo communities but who believe in Scott’s efforts to teach and disciple cowboys and bull riders in their Christian faith.
